The Dutch Creek Property better known as Coal Basin is 222 acres of hillsides, creeks, valley floor, ponds and reclaimed mine areas. Spruce fir and Aspen forest along with meadows make up the lush landscape. Two creeks meet on the east side of the property. This property is perfect for the avid outdoors persons. Great fishing, hunting and snowshoeing. There has even been talk that it could possibly be the next ski area the size of Vail. It is one of the better snowmobile/snowcat accessed zones in Colorado.
