Tara Slidell was born in Annapolis, MD and started her real estate career as a teenager working for her father’s real estate development company as a Certified Leasing Agent, where she leased and managed luxury apartment complexes in and around the DC area for several years. Tara was recruited to University of Delaware where she played lacrosse and obtained a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management. Tara then went on to work as a mortgage lender and processor before heading out west to implement her bachelor’s degree at a Las Vegas Casino. There she worked with many high-profile, VIP clients throughout their stays all while maintaining the utmost discretion. Like most locals, Tara visited Aspen once in 2008, fell in love, moved two years later and never left. Tara has since become one of Aspen and Snowmass's Expert Real Estate Broker & Luxury Rental Specialist. This has allowed her to use her leasing and customer service experience while enjoying working with amazing luxury properties throughout Aspen.
When she is not taking care of her clients and putting together deals, she is enjoying Aspen’s great outdoors with her husband and their two daughters and their dog, Mack.
